About this place
JAIME’s tiramisu is wrapped in gyuhi, a soft, chewy mochi-like confection. Visitors have described the cream beneath it as cool and ice-cream-like, with a texture that makes the dessert stand out. It offers a different take on the familiar tiramisu, best enjoyed slowly alongside a coffee.
The coffee selection ranges from cold brew, reported to have a clean finish and fruity character, to beans from several origins with distinct flavour profiles. Costa Rican coffee is described as bright, with notes reminiscent of citrus and green apple. The Guatemalan has the gentle sweetness of green apple, complemented by herbal aromas and a nut-like toastiness. Decaffeinated Ethiopian coffee is also available, with a floral, tea-like character and soft sweetness.
For something sweet, there is strawberry tiramisu, as well as a croffle plate topped with strawberries, marshmallows and ice cream. For a more substantial bite, try a toasted sandwich with avocado and chicken, mayonnaise, mustard and melted cheese, or a morning plate of pancakes made with Niigata rice flour, served with a sausage, an egg dish and a mini soup. In Akasaka, JAIME suits a stop for an unusually textured tiramisu or a relaxed start to the day with coffee and a light meal.
